Not gourmet but very good food and plenty of it. Stopped there last year to avoid the traffic getting off the Isalnd. Will be back this Thanksgiving for sure. What a way to top off a great day at one of the nicest beaches in the world. Staff very friendly. I am sure with our six month stay in Ft Myers we will be frequent fliers to the Island Cow.

My wife and I ate breakfast here last week and had a wonderful meal. Actually, we've eaten here many times over the years and have always enjoyed everything we've ordered. The portions are huge, the food fresh, the servers friendly and attentive, and the prices are very good. Highly recommended!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 8 year-olds ate at the Island Cow on the recommendation of other families with children. The menu is huge and has something that would appeal to the pickiest eater. Unfortunately, our meals were very disappointing. My son was happy with his chicken fingers and french fries, but my daughter said that her mac and cheese (which looked remarkably similar to the one from the box) didn't taste like it had cheese in it. My husband's sandwich had no flavor and my salad was just OK. As bland as the meal was, the service was good and the bill came to about $45, excluding tip. Also, we chose to eat outside and the bugs ate us alive. Skip the Island Cow and spend the same amount on a much tastier meal at Cheeburger Cheeburger.

Ate supper here on Oct. 9th. Extremely noisy, so that we could not even have dinner conversation. Lots of families with kids, plus the reggae music, made for a very loud atmosphere. The food was OK, but the service was not good. The waitress came by once after serving our food, but never checked again for water refills until two of us had completely finished our dinners (even though she passed us to wait on other tables). Would not recommend unless you like a zoo-like atmosphere for your meals.
