“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

Our food was great! Pancakes were huge and tasty. Eggs cooked exactly right! Our daughter had the alligator! She liked it. Husband had the quesadilla and liked it. A little pricey, but that the norm for Sanibel. Overall good experience. We will go back! Oh and the tables are neat!

“Best BREAKFAST on the Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

We had breakfast at two other well known breakfast places on Sanibel and this was the best by far!! Our server was friendly and our food was delicious. Also the least expensive place we have tried. Four people for 47$. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

“Tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We eat at the Sanibel Cafe every time we visit the island, and the food is always excellent. This trip, we ate breakfast and lunch there several times. Everything was great (including the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the grilled ham and cheese, and the BLT), but I particularly suggest the Greek salad for lunch and the hash browns at breakfast (make sure you pay the extra dollar for onions and Havarti cheese). However, the best thing on the menu, in my opinion, are the grilled parmesan tomatoes. Luckily for me, they are available all day.

“Always worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Down the pecking order in places to have dinner (have never been) yet it's prices seem to offer good value.
It's certainly a great place for breakfasts and the shell tables are really novel. This time I tried the new line in 'fish and eggs' and found this to be very satisfying. The wife had traditional breakfast.
Service was friendly though on our visit I found it a little slow. This was probably because it had suddenly got very busy and wait staff seemed short with our waitress seating people as well as taking care of payments and serving.
Still it's well worth a visit.

“The best freshest ever omelet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

What a fantastic beach cafe! The service was great. Everything was fresh! Great relaxing little place with a staff that stayed alert of all your needs. Their omelets are made with fresh ingredients. The best! Homemade jam too!
