Only had one visit to cheeburger for take away burgers & fries.The guy behind this counter was the nicest person we had the pleasure to meet on sanibel-give him a job in the tourist office .
The portions were really large but im afraid to say the burgers were pretty tasteless & the fries were the worst i have ever tasted ,just couldnt eat them.Its a shame the quality of the food doesnt match the quality of the staff.

We had two good meals there with yummy shakes and onion rings. When we asked our five year old daughter what she wanted to do one last time before we left for home thinking she'd ask to walk on the beach one last time, she asked for Cheeburger, Cheeburger which she claims has the best grilled cheese!

As we walked into the restaurant we heard the bell ringing. Someone had just eaten the pounder burger and got their picture taken. Actually, the pounder is a 20 ounce burger that is about the size of your head. Not to disappoint my children, I decided to order it, and I finished it. The server took my empty basket away and there was no acknowledgement of my grandiose achievement! A restaurant that advertises the pounder should follow through and pay attention.

Overall, the food was good but greasy. The shakes were outstanding. The service was average to below average.

We orginally wanted to have our lunch at the Sanibel Cafe in the same shopping center, but it was almost 3:00 and they stopped serving for the day! So... we walked down to Cheeburger Cheeburger and had a very good lunch there. The kids were happy with the crayons, stickers and drawing paper the waitress gave them. The service was fast and friendly. The food was good including my veggie burger that was enormous. WE loved our milk shakes and the kids thought it was so neat to choose from the many flavors. I recommend a stop here for sure -- even if you just get shakes. Maybe consider stopping when it isn't a peak meal time. We arrived at 3:00 and didn't have to wait at all.
