East End Deli is owned by a couple who originally had a deli in England and moved for a change of scenery. Everyone is friendly! If you want a good fast filling breakfast to go order the "Up and at Em" on a croissant! If you stop by at lunch the wraps and sandwiches are wonderful but if your in the the mood for something different they are famous for their beans and rice.

I also enjoyed their huge hot dog i.e. the "Lucky Dog" but let me warn you, you better be hungry! The key lime pie is the best on the island! If you look on the wall you will see the awards they have received for their outstanding food. Definitely this place needs to be on your list!

East End Deli is wonderful! The selection of wraps, sandwiches, etc. is interesting & delicious. The people who work there are friendly, patient, and helpful. We were looking for a late lunch, hoping to get into the Lighthouse Cafe across the street, but the 45 minute wait there cuased us to go across the street to the East End Deli -- we were glad we made the choice! The breakfast burritos were great, as was the lunch wrap & salad that we had on another day. I just wish they had a little table out front so we could have eaten our food right there.

This place is WONDERFUL! We make it a habit to eat there as often as possible when we're in town. Great place to stop for food to take to the beach.

If you are staying on the east end of Sanibel and don't feel like braving the traffic along Periwinkle for a quick lunch, try this place! Great sandwiches and some unusual British fare, like Cornish pasties (little meat pies) and sausage rolls. We had a few lunches from the East End Deli and all were good--- wraps, sandwiches, hot dogs, salads. This was a convenient location for us and we even rode bikes down one day (from the Sanibel Inn). I was surprised to be the first to write a review for this little gem. A great choice for a quick take-out lunch. (I think they also do breakfast and dinner too...)
