Based on the reviews on tripadvisor we decided to try Timbers. We were very dissappointed. It was a busy night and we had to wait, which would have been fine if the tables outside and the bar had been a bit cleaner instead of laiden with dirty dishes of seafood debris.
The server was very effecient and friendly enough, but when the food came it was very poor. A raw baked potato had to be replaced, the crab cakes were cold in the middle, the swordfish as soggy and tasteless, and a carrot was still frozen. The server didn't bother to ask whether we enjoyed our meal, just whipped the hardly touched plates away, and came back with the check. Maybe we had a bad night - eating fish the day after a public holiday is probably not the smartest move, but really not a good experience at all.

As a team, the Timbers crew is always disappointed when we receive a bad review. We don't get many, but when we are given the opportunity to correct a problem at a table, we are quick to handle any customer complaint, so a guest doesn't leave hungry or unhappy. We don't serve raw potatoes, and we use only FRESH carrots. The swordfish is FRESH domestic swordfish, and since we are open 364 days a year, FRESH is never a problem at the Timbers( even after holidays that most establishments are closed ) Unfortunately we weren't given a chance to fix what appears to have been more than just one problem.
Next visit, let us know and we WILL FIX IT.
