“Always a Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2014 via mobile

The menu is limited and price the high side of average BUT the setting is so beautiful and the food and service extremely good! We come the Gramma Dot's every time we are on the island!

“Great fresh fish.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

I was looking for fresh fish, and I found it here! Menu is not huge, but it covers every base you'll be looking for if you are in search of excellent, simply-prepared and delicious seafood. Coconut shrimp was by far the best I've ever had. Fresh grouper was cooked to perfection. House-made chips to die for. And don;t forget the key lime pie!! I liked everything about this place--a lovely setting, nothing too fancy but great service and great food at a reasonable price (order off the lunch menu for an especially good deal even at suppertime).

“Over priced decent food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

My husband and I went to dinner here our first night on Sanibel. The service was great, but the food & drinks were ok. The water tastes like it came out of a pond or creek (yuk!) and my husband and I both woke up feel sick to our stomachs after eating here. I would not recommend eating here.

“Great views, fabulous grouper!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

Just visited Sanibel, Florida and had dinner at Gramma Dots. Very clean, wait staff is great and the grouper is some of the best I've eaten! I had it blackened and my wife had hers mesquite.
For dessert we each had a piece of gramma dots original recipe key lime pie. It was delicious! Located in the Sanibel Marina, you can choose to eat inside or out. Beautiful!

“Good food but overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

Small restaurant in the marina area. Enjoyed looking at the beautiful boats. The food and service was good, but felt the prices were high for lunch. Sandwiches included homemade chips, only problem is you had to order fries separately instead of substituting chips for fries and adding $1.00 to the bill. Overall a good experience.
