“Great local breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

After a chilly early morning stroll on the beach collecting shells a visit to the Lighthouse Cafe was cozy and perfect. I had eggs prepared perfectly along with crispy bacon and fried potaoes with onions just like my Dad used to prepare. Buttery English muffins with homemade strawberry jelly. My husband had a sausage and cheese omelette and grits on the side which he enjoyed. We were warmed up with great mugs of coffee and the friendly service.

“The best breakfast in Sanibel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

This is truly the best breakfast we had on the island. We had their whole wheat blueberry pancakes and applewood bacon and chedder omelette. So yummy!! The orange juice was so fresh you could really tell it was fresh squeezed juice. Nothing tasted microwaved or reheated....everything was so fresh. The service was excellent and so efficient. We ate here the last two days of our vacation. Wish we would have known about it, we would have eaten here everyday. If we ever get to come back to Sanibel Island this will surely be our #1 breakfast stop.

“Great fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

Lovely local restaurant, delicious breakfasts, would love to have had dinner, but unfortunately not open for evening meals until mod December. Well worth a visit if at that end of the island.

“Best breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

I stayed on the island for 4 days and came here everyday for breakfast. Great daily specials and wonderful mimosas made with fresh squeezed orange juice. Friendly staff and just a nice welcoming place to start the day.

“Great cafe for breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

We came to this place because of its rave reviews and it didn't disappoint. According to the reviews, there is always a wait at this cafe but we got right in on the day after thanksgiving. The cafe is small and cozy with tables crammed together but we didn't mind it a bit. Service was great and the breakfast was excellent. The homefries were what we came for and they were cooked just right - not too mushy and not too burned. Breakfasts are anywhere from $8 - $12 a plate but the food is well worth the price. Highly recommended!
