“Blind Pass Beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

This is a great location along the pass to sunbath, people watch, swim, collect shells) in the right season. Parking is a problem and issue, especially during season. Wish Sanibel would consider ways to provide more parking options on and near beaches. I sense the island does not welcome day trippers since there is such limited parking.

“Watch sunset here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2014

The sun sets right into the Gulf of Mexico and displays so many colors you will think that it is fake. Absolutely gorgeous and the parking is right next to the beach. It is just a short walk away. If I had not had at a condo on the beach, I would have come here to swim and go shelling.
A must see for sunsets.

“Beautiful beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2014

Great beach for shelling and seeing manatees. Pay attention to parking...they closely monitor for illegal parking and it's not worth a $35 parking ticket!

“Pretty area. Parking fills fast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

Beautiful beach and my 10 year old enjoyed fishing under the bridge. But parking is limited so that was the only issue. Otherwise a gorgeous place to watch the sun set and fish and shell.

“Awesome shelling area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

We actually parked at the Turner Beach side on Captiva Island, but it was shallow enough to walk across to Blind Pass Beach. We found the best shelling right between the islands at low tide (lots of conch, lighting whelk, and others). It was actually clear enough to see for a short bit, otherwise, we had to do the feel method because it was so murky.
