Cip's is a place I have not been to before, despite coming to the Islands for years. And that's our loss. It offers a reasonable range of dishes, and we found them all delicious. The calamari was gently fried, and left the inside itself still soft - its rare to find this on the Island. Most places fry it way too long and it comes out ultra crunchy, which means you have no real taste of the calamari. We also had the grouper BLT sandwich - again, a winner. Generous amount of fish, and served with a small slice of bacon amongst lettuce and tomato. The bonus here was the ciabatta bread roll, instead of the more usual burger bun. And, the sandwich was brought *immediately* to the table upon making up.
The benefit there is that the sandwich didn't get soggy and fall apart (due to the moistness of the fish and contents).
It may have been because the numbers in the restaurant were low when we visited, but it made a huge difference to the end result. Good job well done - we will be back.
