This place was great. The price was right and the room were spotless. The Front desk staff : Tony And Harry were fablous to me and my wife and kids. I read some reviews. One in partular said Bed bugs and we were not to go till Tony @ the front desk resured me that it was false. So we gave them a try and Tony was right. I figure some times people write stuff that is not true. We have to see it for yourself, because opinions very and i would take my family their again even with bad comments that guest write after they check out. Thanks again . This hotel ,"Rocks"

On Friday May 25th I checked in with a couple of friends for a one night stay. We were in town for a concert and our first choice was overbooked so we found this property on line. My friend jumped out of the car under the covered canopy and headed for check in. I did not personally check in, however my friend was in and out of the lobby very quickly with our room keys. He was very excited to see that in the lobby was where they served breakfast in the morning.
I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the parking lot to find a freshly painted and nicely landscaped grounds. I could see the pool and a hot tub in the court yard. There was plenty of parking convenient to the rooms. The pool area looked as if it was landscaped recently, the plantings looked fresh.
We quickly located a luggage cart and loaded it up and headed to our room. There was an elevator as well as stairs. This particular motel has outside entrances to each room, no dingy hallways.
The room was located on the second floor and overlooked the pool are. After entering our room I snapped several pictures and can say that the décor and appointments were all brand new. The room was odor free and was nice and cool. My friend immediately checked the mattress for the tell tale signs of insect infestation and expertly noted they were safe, I took a look too and realized the beds appeared to be very new.
The room was quite spacious, with a micro wave, mini fridge, TV, alarm clock, etc, etc. The bathroom and vanity area were quite spacious with a window in the bathroom. The floors and walls were clean. There were plenty of towels, tissue, and soap.
Our room had 2 queen sized beds that were very nice and comfortable. The linens were soft and the comforters were clean and new looking. Each bed had 4 fluffy pillows, soft sheets and a light blanket under the comforter. Had a great night of restful sleep! Amazingly enough, even though the property is on a busy road and our room faced the street it was nice and quiet.
We woke up the next morning refreshed and hungry. We headed downstairs to breakfast in the lobby. We were very happy to see you could make your own waffle! There were also chafing dishes with sausage and scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, cereals with milk, doughnuts, muffins, assorted juices and fresh whole fruit. Quite a nice spread, I enjoyed my breakfast. It seemed we arrived just before the rush. The buffet attendant was busy keeping food replenished to meet the demand of the guests.
I would highly recommend this property, I am fairly picky, but not nit picky. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

a friend and i stayed at this hotel for three nights while visiting pinellas county. i'm from st. petersburg, so i knew this hotel wasn't located in the best area, but geographically it was central and the website that i saw (not this one) had good reviews, so i went with it.
after staying there, i have to say i wish i would have not went with this hotel. the pros are far outweighed by the cons. i'll make it real nice and simple:

beautiful swimming pool surrounded by palm trees
food & drink vending machine that has a wide variety of choices
hot, free breakfast in the morning with many choices - i was very surprised by how good the breakfast was, actually
spacious bathtub
fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room
friendly staff
nice, open lobby. rooms open to the outside, which had a good feel to it.
easy to spot off the side of the road
comfortable bed

cons:
very outdated - the keys looked like USB drives instead of being card keys
the door didn't shut all the way on its own - you had to make sure it was shut by tugging on it
the stopper in the shower was very stubborn and hard to deal with - i had to put the end of my comb underneath it just to drain the water - not a "comfort"able experience at all
the walls in the bathroom were cracked in places and there were mildew spots on the shower
they say they have a "business center" and "fitness center," but it's far from that. the "business center" is a computer in the lobby in the corner that is by a window so that everyone outside can see you and what you're doing and the fitness center is a broken exercise bike and stairclimber, with a treadmill that works, but doesn't calculate heart rate properly.

definitely not worth 70 bucks a night...

not the best location

there but what i saw I liked. The rooms where nice and big, had a small housekeeping issue upon check in, was taken care of right away. Check in/out was great, didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but when I went to get coffee it looked very good. All in all very happy and would stay there again
