“Greasy spoon”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Good burger, good fries, good milkshakes. This drive-up just has that nostalgia feel to it, and the food is good. Gotta love a cash-only business. Don't get the coffee.

“Car Cruise-In every Friday Night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Decent burgers, really good onion rings, surly service - what more could you want from a drive in! Go for the cruise-in on Friday night and enjoy the people watching.

“A trip back in time for a curbside meal!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

We love Biff Burgers. What a great old outdoor Florida dive. The food is very good if you like finger food; from the burgers and pork tenderloin sandwiches to the wings and things.Their BBQ is excellent and they have Ice cream to satisfy a sweet tooth. Prices are great - cash only. Service is always good, there is nightly music and they have a great car show on Friday nights with an equally good Bike Night on Saturdays. If you want to blast into the past, have a good meal and a good time, visit Biffs. If you are afraid of grease, don't like a noisy atmosphere and don't want to make new friends, go somewhere else.

“The two best burgers this side of paradise.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Several years ago I was driving up the coast near Reddington Shores north of St Petersburg and passed a car stopped beside the road, a '64 Lincoln Continental. There was a kid siting on the hood with a huge trophy. "Great car. Where'd you get the trophy?" "Don't you know, man? Biff. Where else?" Biff Burger, of 49th Street. Where else can you find hot rods, rock and roll, bikes, live bands and great burgers. A long bar, great beers, twenty TVs showing every American sport all at once. Loud rock, cute waitresses and a choice of burgers with every topping you can imagine - avocado, sliced hot dogs, Swiss cheese. You name it, you got it as lesser establishments might say. And great juicy half pound 100% ground beef burgers they are too, It's like grabbing hold of the main nerve of America in here. You will never want to eat a burger without the intoxicating aroma of gasoline ever again.

Yet, there is one other burger than can match it. For that one, you'll have to be at P J Clarke's on 3rd Avenue in New York City. They call it the Cadillac.

“Had great expectations...but...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

Happened to drive by this vintage 50's burger joint. So cool! Big open bar, burgers and dogs on one side, BBQ on the other. Came back to try and was very sad. Cargill's best burgers (read: processed), big bun, little meat. Flavorless, pale tomatoes...no excuse for this in Florida. Over cooked onion rings made in old oil. Could easily be so much better with quality ingredients. I'll stick with Chattaway.
