reading the reviews we were looking forward to trying this Mexican restaurant. My wife being of Mexican decent was also looking forward to trying this place.
When we arrived we weren't prepared of how the restaurant works. Basically you order at the counter, find a empty table and they bring it to you.
Initially form what we could see the food Looked good and it wasn't bad, - We order the chicken tortilla-like soup (it was called something else) that was absolute perfection - delicious broth, big pieces of chicken and avocado. What a disappointment was the small portions of salsa and guacamole served in small plastic take out containers. chips were very very oily.
The menu is fairly pedestrian, pretty much what you could get at any other southwestern restaurant in Florida .
My wife was disappointed that all of the dishes had some kind of sweet suave sprinkled on it, and made it more like Mexican fusion rather that authentic food.
It want bad for me but overall average, we won't be back. But hey...it was better than Taco Bell! :)
