“Lovely property, high-end service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

This beautiful hotel is tucked into a business park at the north end of St. Pete. We were there for a weekend reunion and our group was the only large group at the hotel. Every member of the staff treated us like VIPs. Our room, a junior suite, was spotless and spacious. There's a lovely small outdoor pool and a hiking trail on a boardwalk around a lake where you might see herons and egrets and other beautiful wading birds. It was about a 30 minute drive to the beach (Indian Rocks or Clearwater Beach) and about the same to downtown St. Pete. We had two delicious breakfasts at the hotel, and one late dinner. Service was spot-on and in spite of the fact that members of our group kept arriving and departing from our large shared table everyone's meal was delivered as ordered and the energetic young waitstaff managed to keep perfect track of who was on which check. Banquet services were also top-notch, and I'd highly recommend this hotel for a business meeting or social reunion, or just a place to stay within close proximity to TPA airport (it's right across the causeway.)

Room Tip: We had a room on the second floor above the lobby - quiet, with a great wi-fi connection.

We stayed one night and were very pleased with the hotel. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the two busy roads that it sits between and is near the highway but still far enough away. It was very clean and very inviting. The staff was great. The only problems that we had didn't impact our stay. One was that the wifi was weak and our phones wouldn't pick it up real well but we were not there long enough to really need to use it. Also at check in we were informed that we were on the executive level as an upgrade but we were not told of the free breakfast on that floor as a perk. Rather, we were told about the $13 per person breakfast buffet downstairs which made it seem like they were trying to get more money from us. Luckily I noticed the executive lounge early that morning and found a great spread which was exclusive to the executive floor. All in all the good things about this hotel far far out weighted the two small negatives.

Stayed at this hotel after a long flight to Tampa from the UK. We requested a lake view and this was granted. Hotel is in a bit of a business area, but the lake has a boardwalk so you can at least relax and have a stroll around. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was more than adequate. Pool area was small but as this is more of a business hotel you couldn't expect more. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a helpful server on hand. Lots of parking space available. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others.

We were looking for a nice hotel that was close to Tropicana Field and The Hilton popped up. Definitely not close and the traffic was horrendous. BUT this place is beautiful. So clean. The room was perfect and the bed was comfy. The glasses in the room were real glass as well as the coffee cups. No styrofoam here. Friendly and comfortable. Would love to stay here again

I was there for business for 3 nights. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Behind the pool area was a reserve area ...complete with alligators, turtles and assorted sea birds. There were walkways/decking all around allowing for strolling or running. The grounds were beautiful. Food service was good, room service was fast. It's in a business park so the reserve provides a little beauty. Infinity pool and hottub were clean. It is a short drive to several gulf beaches and we made the trip out to see the gulf one evening. For business, it is a good fit. I'd stay again if in the area on business again.

We have family in the area so we come to St. Pete several times a year. This hotel has a very nice pool and a nature path/walkway that is unexpected and lovely. We had dinner and the breakfast buffet at Luna during one of our stays. The service was very efficient and friendly and the food fresh and tasty. The price was not bad at all for the meal quality. Our rooms both times were spacious and very clean. We can't wait to stay here again. Thanks Hilton! keep up the good work!

Room Tip: The jacuzzi tubs are noisy so I'd be wary of booking one under them.

We were looking for a venue for my daughters wedding so we attended a bridal show and decided to stay for lunch, so as to try the food. I ordered one soup and I was served a lobster bisque by mistake. I'm highly allergic to shellfish and I ended up in he ER and sick for days. The GM offered to pay for a replacement for my epipen, give us a free night sty and dinner for two and 100,000 rewards points. We didn't want to make a Big stink because we had good health insurance etc so we agreed just so we could get past the bad experience. We were given everything except the large sum of rewards points. Many attempts to get this resolved have been or naught. It's been salt in the wound and we no longer sty t any Hilton's, no longer hold conferences in their establishments and the wedding was booked elsewhere. Corporate did nothing because it was up to the GM... Never again!

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else ! Clearwater Marriott is your best choice !
