Description: For over 40 years, Texas Cattle Company, a family owned and operated restaurant, has been a local favorite serving only select USDA Prime and Choice, three year old grain-fed beef. We steer clear of fancy cooking methods, flame-broiling our steaks over a natural wood-burning fire made from Florida citrus and oak wood. At Texas Cattle Company, our pledge is to exceed the expectations of our guests by providing highly personalized service, signature steaks and the freshest seafood prepared to perfection. We ensure the most exceptional dining experience, leaving our guests with a desire to return for more!

“Cowgirl Karen's Birthday!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

Party of six celebrated Karen's Birthday. Cowgirl Steak is completely complimentary on your birthday...you must show your ID, but that's ok. Corkage fee is $15....coffee is a little pricey at $4 a cup...that's a little much. The steaks were ok, our other guests said it was better in the past. But still had a really great time. Our waiter was awesome, attentive and took lots of photos of our crazy group...Thanks Andrea!

Wow, what a lot of differing reviews this restaurant receives. About two years ago my hubby and I were regulars here, especially for birthdays or for somewhere to take out-of-towners. It was a guarantee that you would have an excellent steak and good service. But we started to notice that the steaks were not as good quality, and the level of service was declining for what we considered was a upper mid-priced restaurant. (Not sure if that price description is acceptable.) So we stopped going.
On a spur of the moment, we decided to revisit and see how things were going. There was ample parking (Saturday night) and the front house staff were friendly and pleasant. We were seated right away. Then we waited almost 10 minutes for a server, to the point that hubby had to flag down the hostess as she passed. She dealt with it right away and in seconds our server appeared and was very apologetic, even taking the blame (he had not noticed us being seated).
From that point on we had a good dining experience. Our bone-in ribeye was cooked exactly as we requested, the red potato mash was tasty and the sides of sautéed onions and maytag cheese complimented our meal. We did not particularly enjoy the house salad (a bit too much dressing) but the French cheese bread was delicious.
Overall we have noticed an improvement in the steaks and the service was commendable. We will go back again.

“Great cut of steak, seared to perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Management has good staff here. Steak was perfect, just the right seasoning and char. Beer selections are good. Wines, OK, fit the demographics. Location could be better, and parking isn't the easiest, but to get a good steak, great service and consistency, you can't go wrong here.

“VERY SAD - Cheap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

After eating here for 20+ years, this "new management" sucks.
Food used to be outstanding.
Service was exemplary with sophisticated and knowledgeable wait staff.
Today, you can save the trip and stop at the closest Outback and get better food and service.
All those little niceities and subtlies are gone, it's just a cheap restaurant masquarading under the old laurels which quite frankly don't fit this place anymore.
A quick way to tell how good a restaurant is is by their willingness to provide a website for easy customer feedback.
This place does NOT want feedback, they know they have made major cutbacks but they don't want to know that you know.
Sorry Charlie, we won't be travelling that far for that "average" restaurant experience anymore.

“A lot of tasty food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012 via mobile

We ordered the Calamari, the Crab Cake and a Bone Rib Steak. Together with sallad and bread is was a lot of well cooked food. We could not finish it, sorry to have to leave this tasty food. Servers dressed in Coyboy outfit and service was swift, althoug the restaurant was packed. Not more than 10 min waiting time for food.
