37 years in St Pete. Not fancy or full of tourists, lots of regular customers. Large menu of breakfast and lunch items, priced very modestly, and served by waitresses that have been there for a long while. Very friendly and casual. You go there for the food - breakfasts with homemade fried potatoes, ham hash, country fried steak, stuffed french toast, chipped beef, S.O.S., omelettes, fish, tasty blueberry pancakes, etc. in generous portions, Lunches include great burgers, soups and salads, a long list of sandwiches and short order dinners, and daily specials including delicious chicken and dumplings on Tuesdays. And a kids menu. The usual drinks plus milk shakes and beer. We've been going here for 15 years - it never gets old.
