Sunken Gardens is an "Old Florida" attraction that has been nicely updated, and some renovations are still in progress. The new entrance is adjacent to the (new location of the) Great Explorations museum and a combination ticket is available. Discount coupons for $1 off admission are in most tourist guides. It's now open seven days a week. We especially enjoyed the Butterfly Garden and the Butterfly Enclosure, and at the time of our visit the bouganvilla was in spectacular bloom. Garden tours are available, but we spent 2-3 hours wandering on our own. There are plenty of photo opportunities; a bridge, waterfalls, wishing well, and a special photo spot near the wedding grounds.
