For £60 a night, I had quite big expectations. We booked a lodge which turned out to be more reminiscent of a shed with a bed (no sheets or pillows) and a plug socket. We booked through Keycamp whose website is quite misleading with its photos of the lodges. We went straight back to the reception checked out and booked into a hotel on Madeira beach.

Staff were very helpful though, and from other users reviews, it appears we weren't the only people to have expected a lot more for the price.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff is friendly and helpful, the campground is well maintained, the air conditioned restrooms are clean and the pool area and kids activities are great. We had a nice paved waterfront site with access to the water. Less than 10 minutes from the campground are beautiful gulf beaches, great shopping and lots of restaurants. Two things we feel are missing are cable TV and WiFi. We would definitely recommend staying at this campground.

We vacation every winter at the St.Petersburg Koa and I would not think of looking anywhere else.

We have been here since May. We have moved down here from up north, so we are looking for a house. The campground is great. It has everything you need and more. The staff is great too, as most live on the property and are always available. Marshall is best; he's here with his wife. Prices aren't bad, if they were the price all year long. It seems we are going to have to find a new campground come October, because they jack up the rate so high for the "snowbirds." I feel if you've been here way before October, you shouldn't have to pay any more to stay longer!!! This is the only great downfall of this campground. So come anytime between April and October and you'll love it. After that, this campground is for suckers that will pay for it!!
