We visited this restaurant on 4/13/13. We arrived early in the lunch service, but you could see this place was hopping. We were greeted at the door of this tiny eatery by a perky, friendly woman who handed us menus and explained that you place your order at the counter, then find a seat. Simple enough. We found a table inside (they also have a lovely courtyard, we noticed later) and our new pixie-like friend brought our iced tea. The restaurant is one small room decorated with an eclectic mix of Mexican chachkes and skulls - really.
The food arrived moments later, and both our dishes were excellent. I ordered two tacos (one pork, one shrimp) that were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My better half ordered a "torta carnitas" (pork sandwich) with black beans, cilantro, jalapenos and avocado - that was the winner of the day.
Next time I'm in the area I would definitely revisit this place to try some of the other temptations on the menu.
