My wife and i stayed here for 4 days as part of a triple location break, the hotel itself was very nice unfortunately we were allocated a room at the front of the hotel near the gym, which was very dark and a bit tired. The beach bar was lovely and the pools also were great. Not an ideal location as you had to drive to reach any other places of interest.

Nice and quiet place by the sea, with big yard and pool. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Rooms a bit worn out. Some problems with air con... but what else is new. Not many visitors in early May, must be much nicer in summer when you can really enjoy the beach. Far away from everything – hence the peacefulness. But banning a 20-year old member of our group even entering the beach restaurant was a bit too much, at least from the European point of view.

Nice place -- I spent three nights there. Good location for business if you're going back and forth between the Tampa Bay area and Sarasota County, as I was. The property affords pretty surroundings -- though you wouldn't want to swim in the water there. Services were okay -- standard Holiday Inn fare, with pleasant people but flaws on the delivery -- like forgetting meal iterms requested from room service. Nice-sized exercise room, though I didn't use it. I got a good deal a little more than $100 on Expedia.com, so that made it all worthwhle and a good choice for me on this business trip.

The property is not new, but the rooms were clean. The staff really made our stay the most pleasant - from the Front Desk staff at the time we checked in, the attentive restaurant staff, the bartender - who made sure we felt included, and even the security staff made their friendly presence known. The hotel has a lush landscape, beautiful pools, and the beach was kept clean - even though the water in both the large pool and the bay were too cold to venture into. The view was gorgeous - with the sunshine skyway in the distance. The food in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. Each room had a balcony, so after an evening of eating, a few after dinner drinks, and a walk along the bay we could sit on our balconies and enjoy the view over the water. Then it was off to sleep in our comfortable beds. It was a "girls weekend" and we were very happy to have chosen this location.
