My wife and I don't usually like B&B's. Victorian frou-frou and candlelit breakfasts a 9 are not our style. Wintergarden advertises "no doilies here." That was the first attraction. Continental breakfast from 7-11 at separate tables was another. The location is perfect - a short walk from the Chihuly collection, The Fine Arts museum, the bay front, and many good restaurants. Our room (Key West) was simply furnished and comfortable. We would have liked nightstands and lamps on both sides of the bed and, perhaps, a bigger bathmat, but those were the only flaws. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We couldn't find a better place to stay in St. Pete.

Solo travel can be a challenge. It wasn't here. The Inn is a half-block from Beach Drive, a lively waterfront for walking, museums, and restaurants. Even movie theaters are a short walk away.
The Inn is clean, elegant, and commodious, with an equally clean and calming palm-fringed pool area with shade and sun for chilling out or warming up.
The Innkeepers are as warm and lively as the surround, and will accommodate your needs. This is a ten-star experience!

We stayed here for five nights the last days of January and had a very relaxing time at this B&B. Bill and Wilder are very friendly and their hospitality is great. The room was nice, clean and comfortable, and really close to the Pier and restaurants. We can definitely recommand this B&B!

What a perfect place to spend a relaxing few days. Bill and Wilder are such gracious and charming hosts. They made my partner Lee and I feel right at home. We even went for a swim in the pool on New Year's Eve and it was lovely. The beds were incredibly comfortable and our room was perfectly quiet. I would highly recommend taking advantage of Bill's enthusiasm for making cappuccinos. The Inn is located in close proximity to the museums, the marina and some terrific night spots and great shopping. Wilder provided us with restaurant recommendations which we followed and her recommendations were spot on every time. The only thing I would have changed was the length of our stay, I wish it could have been longer. We have already recommended the Watergarden Inn to family and will definitely stay there again. LGBT friendly.

We spent a week there over Christmas and couldn't have been more pleased with out accommodations. The Inn is everything it claims to be and a great value.

Bill and Wilder our great hosts and genuinely wish to make your time in St. Pete rewarding.

This was probably our 6th or 7th stay at The Watergarden Inn. Each time we are greeted warmly and made to feel like we are family. Bill and Wilder leave no stone unturned. Our newly redecorated room was delightful and so very spacious! We have every thing we need here. The huge jetted tub is always a favorite and the pool is such an added bonus. Every morning we were greeted with a smile and an offer to make us Cappuccinos. Breakfasts are light with a large selection of choices for all palates. We brought a "fussy" group with us this time (vegans and GF) and Bill and Wilder had no problem accommodating us. OF COURSE we will be back. Short of our own "home" we will only stay at The Watergarden Inn. Thank you Bill and Wilder! A perfect Xmas vacation!
