“What an awesome staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2012

Pretty landscaping at this hotel. The walk to the beach is l-o-n-g though. The kitchen area was small in our room... made it hard to cook. The selling point of this hotel is by far the staff! I have never had anyone so happy to give me towels!! They were super-duper helpful. Over and above what was expected!
The pool was right outside our door... clean and warm. Easy access to groceries, too.

Room Tip: Even rooms by the pool were quiet.

We drove along the strip and stopped at a few motels along the way. One was too yucky looking, the one a few doors down from this Best Western was $50 more for just a standard room. This place has a separate living area, and nice kitchen amenities. The McDonald's is across the street for coffee in the morning too. Great location and clean. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: No elevator so 1st floor would be better

Great beach location! Rooms were clean and spacious with separate rooms. Sunsets were amazing.

Wasn't sure what to expect staying at a Best Western. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was clean and the location was great. We walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner everynight. In the evenings we would walk next dood to the sister property and have a drink and watch the sunset. Beach was very clean and you could take your own cooler, chairs, etc. The parking was tight but at least there was parking. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Tresure Island!

I agree with a previous title-it was better than expected. It is definitely a small older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. It looks like an old mom and pop beach hotel. Parking is very tight. I was told there was no breakfast, but my BW survey asked me to rate the breakfast?? Not sure what that's all about. All in all, it's not a bad place to stay and I would stay again if I was in the area. Give it a shot.

Never sure what to expect with a Best Western, especially one touted to be on the beach at an affordable rate. When I registered at the front desk, I was skeptical. The lobby was clean, but tight and old school. Parking was even tighter. I had flashbacks to a previous Treasure Island weekend at a different hotel, where our room smelled like 1965. And this time, my wife and I had three young kids in tow. Our two-room suite this time didn't "wow" us, but it didn't make us hold our breath until checkout either. Clean. Plenty of room for the five of us. Best, we were directly on a wide and quiet (by Florida standards) beach. We didn't come to shack up in our room for two days. Most telling was my wife's comment: "I'd come back here."

Room Tip: Go for the back, away from the main road.

I spent two nights here at it was a great place to hit St pete Beach. It's an older hotel but it had a pool and the folks were very nice and flexible with the parking. They also own the Resort next door so you can take advantage of the larger pool and jacuzzi there as well as their beach front bar. The room had a queen size and a full size sofa bed so it accomodates 4 people and they rolled in a cot for some family that came over. It was afordable and a great way to enjoy the beach and restaurants. It's 5 minutes from /?Johns Pass and 10 minutes from Don Cesar hotel so you're right in the middle of it all.

Room Tip: Book in advance
