“4th of July Blast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Wow, what a great way to spend our national holiday! MFA's special event for the 4th of July was a big hit for our party of 6. The gourmet barbeque was absolutely delicious!! The setting was perfect as the glass front looks out to the water and park where the fireworks went off. We enjoyed our meal in a beautiful setting paired with a jazz band providing soothing entertainment. We all could not think of a better way to enjoy this special evening. We will definitely do it again!

“Pleasantly Surprised by the catered food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Went to a wedding held at the MFA and the event was catered by the museum cafe. It was WONDERFUL food. During the cocktail hour passed appetizers were hot and fresh. The stuffed chicken at dinner was cooked to perfection.

“Good Food at the Museum Who Knew?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

I have eaten in a number of museum cafes, and I have to think this is one of the best. Fresh salads, menu varies seasonally, and the amazing part, good wait staff and relatively fast service, so if you work, you can still go there for lunch and make it back to the office in time. Of course, many of those at the MFA are the "ladies that lunch" but some of us are working folk with a taste for art.

“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

We are eating lunch-the warm crusty bread, the hummus and the chicken tortilla soup and the service, are so perfect that I Started this review before the panini comes. We both had mozarella and tomato panini with tapenade and pesto. Comes with side salad or dill potato salad. I had a lavender vinaigrette. All perfect-highly recommend for lunch. And when you are through there a some wild parrots squawking in the nearby trees-Nanday parakeets.

“Beautiful outdoor Setting overlooking Tampa Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Lunch at the outdoor cafe is always special at the Museum of Fine Arts. I enjoy their food presentation and the delicious if somewhat limited choices of selections. Seating is limited so get there early, especially at noon on a sunny day.
