We were 6 people split into 2 checks. One group, more knowledgeable about wine, ordered a bottle. The waitress charged both checks for the bottle of wine. When we discovered it after leaving and went back to complain, it took almost 1/2 hour for the manager to correct the bill and take the bottle off the 2nd check. We saw him question the waitress but she never came over to apologize or explain. A restaurant that cared about it's reputation would have comped the bottle of wine for our trouble. But no such offer was made. The manager even seemed surprised that we wanted to adjust the tip to exclude the duplicate charge in the tip calculation. The whole way this was handled made us certain that the waitress had intentionally charged us twice thinking we would never compare the 2 checks and discover the duplication, we only did so by accident in casual conversation walking away from the restaurant. The food and ambiance is good but, if you eat here, scrutinize your check carefully and make sure you're charged correctly BEFORE you pay!!
