Went to Saint Petersburg last week (3/10) on business and stayed at the Marriott Courtyard, it is only about 4 blocks and walking distance to the Parkshore Grill. Hotel clerk recommended it to us. It was a busy time around 6:30 and the only available seating was either outside (chilly in early March) or inside in the bar. We chose the bar. Sat down and waited for 20 minutes before anyone (the hostess) asked if anyone had gotten our orders. Guess it was because the hostess didn't give us menus to start with. How would a waiter responsible for a group of tables know that two men in suits sitting at a table with nothing would want a drink, or heavens forbid, dinner.
After the hostess gave us menus, waited another 15 minutes for the waiter to take interest in us. Actually, we had not seen the waiter before so we don't know where he came from. Waited another 10 minutes for our drinks. Food was very good, a little pricey as it is all a la carte. Of course the waiter forgot and didn't bring all of my order with the rib eye. He finally brought the side of onion rings after I had finished my meal. Rings were very good and so was the steak. My partner got the scallops and said they were delicious. Of course the long, long wait and inattentiveness really was a downer and we will not go back when we return. Go to the Bella Brava for some excellent italian food and great service. One block south of Parkshore on beach drive. Also has sidewalk and indoor seating.
