“Great hotel with a really cool surfer vibe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2010

We stayed over labor day weekend; and we really had a blast -- fun little hotel that is right on the beach -- The entire hotel has a key west type look, rooms are really unique and clean with nice beds and plasma tv's -- they have a fun beach bar with some really great bartenders. The hotel was an old travellodge that they upgraded; and they did a wonderful job however the plumbing and the thin walls help remind you the hotel is really old.

The pool and the beach access make this hotel worth staying at; they have servers come to with drinks and food all day by the pool -- very club med! Only issue we had was the horrible service at the front desk, they were not only indifferent but downright rude....

Location: Perfect...Rooms: Clean...Staff Friendly...Pool Nice... Beach Heavenly
Bottom line this place is the best for a weekend get away that won't break the bank. The Wildwood restaurant is a bit pricey but the food was really good, and to be able to sit at the beach bar and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset makes the PCI A+.

Small motel with great BarBQue and Burger restaurant right on the beach. The pool is large and very nice, and there is a small wading pool which was great for the smallest grandchild. Beach bar and Tiki Hut are ON THE BEACH. Note: if you don't like loud bands, don't ask for a Cabana Room. Cabana rooms are facing pool, with some of them right next door to the beach bar and Loud Band. Complimentary breakfast.

No irons no water in vending machines. Oh well let me go to the 7-11 unless u r in college. Perfect for beer pong and drunk college kids.

Its directly on the beach , it it wasnt for that I would have given all ones. Its a "no frills" hotel. no fridge, no hair dryer, no iron....nada. It was very clean so I would say that was a plus. Staff was very young and uninterested. The theme is surfer chic, decorately nicely but you can still tell its a travelodge underneath all thepaint and pillows. Hotel seems to attract the milf and dilf types. Not a place to chill and get pampered. If you looking for a party hotel with lots of eye candy this is for you. Rooms should be more in the 60 range but they charge 90plus

I just stayed at the Postcard Card Inn in St. Pete Beach Fl and let me tell you I don't know what are the other reviewers are talking about; first I was skeptic of even staying at this hotel after reading all the bad reviews it had, Thank God I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It is a wonderful place to stay! Rooms are very clean, the decoration is awesome and the staff excellent. I had stayed at this hotel before when it was a Travelodge and it was "ok" but now hey it's worth staying, no complaints.I had stayed at Hiltons, Gaylord Palms, Raddisson etc. and let me tell you for the price and the cleaniness of this hotel it has nothing to envy those others. Keep up the Good work PCI! I will return.
