“We loved it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

We had booked into TW for a 2 night stay post cruise and loved it so much we rebooked our flights and stayed 2 more.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Kids activities were great. Especially on the day it rained.
Loved the red beard show and smores.
Grounds are lovely with plenty of quiet nooks.
Many great options for food and drink.
We had a room over looking the pool and were pleasantly surprised that it was fairly quiet with our door shut and the music was turned off at a decent hour.
Rooms are small and outdated for the price but the location, amenities and sunsets help off set it.
Sand was amazing, lots of shells, quiet at night and perfect for sunrise walks.
Pools were clean. The kiddy pool is a wading pool, a pool with a sloped floor for 2-3 year olds would be great as the big pools were to deep.
Infatable beach waterslide was a hit, but it's fast not really suitable for young kids.
my husband did a parasailing behind a boat and had a blast.
We would love to go back. A beautiful resort that you don't have to leave to enjoy your holiday!

The Trade Winds is like being on a tropical Island with every type of activity to choose from. The gated property provide a real security to your vacations. At the check-in the crew is friendly and cover all the amenities of the resort. On the grounds you can select from one of the six restaurants and lounges. The beach is just a short walk out you door with all the beach toys and fun for yourself or the kids. How could anything here be bad when the entire North East of the U.S. was shut down and flight canceled due to a bad winter storm.

Room Tip: I had one of the room on the beach and it was great. The 4th floor gave me a look over the gulf and...

From the exterior the hotel is quite grand. Once on the property it looks like the Tradewinds bought out smaller hotels that were next door and tried to remodel and dress them up but it felt like we were at a separate hotel without the staff to assist us. We lugged our bags to and from the room passing the hotels staff and not one person offered us assistance. The room was clean and well appointed but I did not feel I was at a resort but they sure have no problem charging the resort fee. I had a nice time but I felt service fell short.

A resort with lots of fun things to do. Can't beat the beach access and selection of pools. Salty's Tiki bar was great to listen to music and enjoy a freshly made drink. The paddle boats are fun to relax and enjoy a conversation. There are lots of places to sit and read a book. The hammock was my favorite one. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I have an oceanfront parlor room in the Breckenridge Building which is a bit of a pain to get to the conference rooms without having your wind blown and if it rains you are screwed. We tried to use valet but they tell you your walk is longer to valet than to park in the back lot so basically no valet or way to stay out of the weather-- ridiculous. Room is generally fine, slightly worn but well equipped and the view and small balcony is lovely. We are in 7603

I am grossed out that while they might change the sheets they do not changes the sheets that are used to cover the blanket. Fresh stains, absolutely grosses me out.

Counter on kitchenette not cleaned properly so I can only assume the dishes weren't either since no dishwasher.

The rooms are over crowded with two queens and they have next to no king size options (of course to maximize space for families) but the room would be ideal with a king. We put our empty luggage in car because there was absolutely no room for it in the room. Folk in standard rooms in the main building are complaining the rooms are very dated. I do not have that complaint in Breckenridge. .

All the staff are exceptionally nice. Love Noel in Beef O'Gradys sports bar that just reopened yesterday evening just in time for the beginning of our stay.

Room Tip: Definitely ocean front make sure you get an upgraded room.

Second time here, was cooler, so not as many guests. Activities were fun, beach was beautiful, pools could've been a little warmer. Paddle boating was fun for the kids. A little loud in the mornings if the room is on the courtyard where breakfast is served. Carts echo. S'mores on the beach was great! Love the cabanas.

This property is first class and very well maintained. There are numerous amenities with a lot to do for families of all ages. Beautiful sunsets and white sugar sand beach along with a cold beverage, it doesn't get much better. The unit we stayed in was clean, in great shape, well decorated and comfortable. You won't be disappointed.
