Well managed and in great shape - 3 cheers for ALDEN BEACH RESORT!
Yes - it's an older hotel, but it's clean, well maintained, good staff and you can't beat the location! If you're picky, bring you own pillow and sheets. The kitchen is good enough to get by for 3-4 days and save yourself from eating out too much. The mornings were awesome to enjoy the beach and the afternoon sunsets were beautiful. Worth the price - I will be back!

when i stayed at the alden young children were in the pool till 2 am...the parents were next door at the bar drinking.....my phone in my room did not work...when i complained abou the noise at 1 am i was told "oh ya,, the cheerleaders are here" they were noisy.. and disrespectful... i had to deal with this ALL WEEK long... i used to love the alden...not anymore....New Owners???? uncaring...

Had a great visit to Saint Pete Beach at the Alden and would definitely return again! Staff were very friendly and helpful (particularly want to mention our housekeeper Linda, she was always so bright and cheerful!) and the hotel is very clean. The location is great, the beach is your backyard. Only one complaint: the WIFI isn't complimentary and has to be purchased.

I want to praise Christopher Larson and Alex who attended the front desk during the weekend of the the Meeks-Webb Wedding. I have never received such superior customer service at a hotel, not even from 5-star hospitality institutions. Their flexibility, patience, good humor, TEAMWORK, and cordial professionalism made the stay such a pleasure for me that I would be willing to return to the Alden Suites - in fact, I'd be willing to return and vacation in Tampa - just for the pleasure of staying at a hotel with such fantastic service!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, Chris and Alex. You really set the bar and should be recognized for it. Great job.
