I am a repeat customer of Crabby's. We loved it so much the first time when we came back to Fl to get married we booked them for a small reception. When we showed up we wanted the upper deck, but they
said it was too windy and had already closed the level. I was a little disappointed because I really wanted to be up there. So after talking to them they opened it up for us, put a bartender up there and were very accomodating. The food is always wonderful and the wait staff very friendly. Keep up the good job! I will see you when we get back to Florida.

It was my birthday and we were celebrating. We had great food and the service was excellent. The owner (I believe he was the owner) treated us just like family! He even got everybody in the restaurant to sing the happy birthday song for me!!! I'll never forget the good times and the good food.

Crabby Bill's has 2 restaurants along Gulf Blvd in the St. Pete's Beach area, one in St. Pete's Beach, and the other about 10-12 miles north in Indian Rocks Beach. Both offer excellent seafood, in a very relaxed atmosphere. I did find that the Indian Rocks Beach location had cheaper prices... they are run by the same family, but must be separately owned. Both are great. I've been going to the Indian Rocks Beach location for over 25 years, and have NEVER been disappointed with their consistent quality.
Kid friendly, very personable wait staff, and you can walk in right from the beach, shirt & shoes required, however, but the dress code is very casual. It's always an inviting place to eat.
I'd recommend it to anyone!

Sitting at picnic tables indoors at lunch didn't bother me. Having the waitress sit down at the picnic table with us didn't bother me. All the fried fish on the menu didn't really bother me. What I can't tolerate at a restaurant is waiting 45 minutes for the check after lunch is over. Crabby Bill's didn't seem to have enough waiters or waitresses -- during the course of two visits -- to handle the sheer numbers in the restaurant. Kitchen staff were bringing out lunches to tables. We couldn't signal our waitress for anything because she was too busy taking orders to come back to our table. After waiting for 45 minutes to catch a glimpse of her to ask for our check, we all walked to the bar. When we asked the bartender to try to retrieve our check, she asked us for our table number. The tables don't have numbers. "What do you mean, you don't know your table number?" she demanded. There aren't any and, besides, that's not my job, I said. The waitress was noticable irritated that we came looking for her. Someone in our party said this is supposed to be part of the charm of Crabby Bill's. Ed Debevic's in Chicago -- Good Food, Fresh Service -- works because the help is competent. At Crabby Bill's it doesn't work because they're not.
