Our family was fortunate to go to Germany together 2 years ago, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. On our family vacation this year, we found Sandra's German Restaurant, and we all decided it would be a good place to compare to our experience in Germany. We all had different dinners, and they were absolutely fantastic! The German bier is excellent as well. Yes, the dining area is small and quaint, but that's part of the appeal. Reservations are highly recommended. Our son stated that, walking across the entry threshold was like crossing the border between the U.S. and Germany on a really short flight. Everything is home-made, delicious and authentic. No shortcuts are taken by the owner/chef. Our waitress was from Dusseldorf and came here 5 years ago without the ability to speak English. Her attitude was warm, friendly, and funny, and she was very attentive to all of us. The only thing wrong is that we live in Wisconsin and the commute is a bit long. ;-) Otherwise, we would dine there frequently, probably every week! Highly recommended delicious authentic German cuisine! Go for it!
