“Long wait for a great meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

We got off on the wrong foot here. Brought the family early to avoid a long wait and was told there would be a 35 min wait. Great considering its spring bresk Well that turned into an hour and 35 min wait. Went to check several times and didn't get any understanding. Couldn't tell me why several parties on list well after us got seated before us.

Service was pretty good once we sat down. I had the famous blue Tuna appetizer. It lived totally up to its billing. Was best seared tuna I've ever had, period. The cocunut shrimp was disappointing. Great dipping sauce but the shrimp was over cooked. All in all a positive experience. I'll definitely come back for the tuna. Didnt ask if we wanted desert. Think want to rush us out for people waiting. Food A, service C. Pretty much par for the beach in Florida. So much business customer service does not have to be a priority.

“Wonderful food, great ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

This became our favorite restaurant in St. Pete Beach. It has a wide choice of sea food, all excellent. For those who prefer beef, they serve a wonderful filet of beef tenderloin. Outside seating is available. Get there early, because the seats fill quickly and waits can be long.

“Wonderful discovery; our new favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

We're locals, so we'd heard about Snappers but hadn't stopped before... and now it's our new favorite. Inventive and amazing, very very fresh fish. The chain restaurants just can't compare to this!

“Great food and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Absolutely LOVED the food...grilled watermelon with grilled goat cheese was a fantastic appetizer. Coconut shrimp and fried shrimp entrees were tasty and well presented. Probably wouldn't order the potatoe pastry again...but everything else was delicious! Waitress made a few mistakes in our order...but more than made up for them by bringing some extra items at no charge. Had no wait Tuesday evening at 7:00 since we were willing to eat outside. Temperature was in the low 60's but outdoor dining has an overhead heater...so we were very comfy. Excellent food and local beer...best meal we had during our 8 day stay on St. Pete Beach. Within walking distance to most hotels...we walked .9 mile and enjoyed the stroll.
