The service including our waiters and the Maitre D' were exceptional. Specifically, we were initially placed next to a large party and requested to be moved as to avoid the noise. The staff prompty placed as as far away as possible. Additionally, the servers inlcudng our primary waiter Jeff, were professional, unobtrusive, and pleasant, without being chatty. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very elegant and pleasant. However the meal for the most part misfired. Both my partner and I enjoyed the Thai-inspired cocounut soup, which was complexed and delicious. We next shared the crab cake appetizer and were disappointed that the only flavor profiled experienced was salt. We notified the waiter about the overly salted appetizer and he immediately informed the kitchen staff. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again with our entrees. Although my Black Grouper was a beautifully white large portion, the only primary taste was salt. In addition, the accompaniments were overly salted. My partner's Halibut was also extreme salty. We ate our meals without complaint but when asked by the staff, informed them about the issue. They recommended that we informed them prior to ordering that we wished "no added salt in our meals". We will try them one more time and incorporate their suggestions. Frankly, an establishment offering meals in this price point should be nearly perfect. I cannot imagine that the chefs tasted their product. Furthermore, I was surprised that the establishment did not offer us another meal or some discount given the situation.
