“Living in Paradise For Practically Free ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2014

This resort/hotel is right on the bay and has a breathtaking view (It has the type of view that pictures can 't explain; you have to see it for yourself to be able to truly comprehend how beautiful it really is). The owners John-Michael and Brooks treat you like family and they commonly have Bonfires and are both really laid back and down to earth. It's extremely affordable, especially if your staying long term. My Girlfriend and I decided to stay for a year and got an incredible deal. Each room is already furnished with unique antique furniture and brand new (extremely comfortable) beds. The Air Conditioning vent works quicker and faster than any other air conditioning vent I have ever came across (which is great for the summer). They have free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building (even outside). I absolutely love this place and would recommend this place to anybody (especially pet lovers and people who like to travel with their pets since it is a pet friendly hotel for animals of all sizes). This place was a life saver for me; and I wouldn't want to stay or live at any other place in St. Pete Beach than this one. It's a very small, relaxing resort where you can kick back and just be yourself.

They were not just very accommodating but were also pet friendly. Liked the location...away from the hustle bustle but close enough should you want more. Checked prices in the area and they were definitely more reasonably priced. I compared it to a bed and breakfast without the breakfast.

This is my second time at Baywaters Inn. I was first here in Feb. 2013, for two months. I stayed here b/c it is CLEAN. The rooms have everything you would need to cook & if not they will get it for you.
Free internet, laundry, cable & parking. And clean..I say this over & over b/c lots of hotels have dirty smelly carpet. Baywaters have beautiful hard wood floors. Tile in kitchen & bathroom. They have a lovely dock where you can see dolphins & fish or just sit.
The owners are very friendly & courteous. They make you feel like family.
I'm back again been here 3 months till I can find a condo. I'm in no rush b/c I'm comfy at the Baywaters Inn.

Room Tip: ALL the rooms are perfect.

Had a great visit to BayWaters. Located on the Intercoastal is was the perfect place for us to keep our boat for exploring the St Pete Beach area by water. The owners, John-Michael and Brooks were wonderful hosts and their dogs were a blast to play with. There is also free laundry which always comes in handy. A ten minute walk from the property and you are on the beach. The little downtown of St Pete Beach is a five minute walk as well.

If you are traveling with your dogs, you couldn't ask for a better place for them to relax, and you to relax at the same time. Completely fenced in property with front and back door access. They even take large breeds, with no deposit. Full kitchens with everything you need. Friendly and attentive staff, and very clean. We travel with our shepherds and they were welcomed with open arms to run free about the property. Really amazing gem of a hotel!!

I Can't say enough wonderful things about Baywaters Inn and the warm and kind owners, John-Michael an Brooks. They take such pride in the property, and always make you feel at home! We arrived to a spotless room, a beautiful view, and wagging tails (this hotel is pet friendly, with the 2 friendliest property dogs you'll ever pet!) Picture the best vacation experience you've ever had or the best hotel customer service you've experienced and this place will blow it out of the water. A true home away from home!

I can’t say enough good things about BayWaters Inn. From the moment you get there and are greeted by Brooks, John-Michael, Sparky and Bulldozer you feel like you are part of the family. This place is really a little piece of paradise. Quiet location on the intercoastal where you can easily tie up a boat if fishing is your thing or just sit and chill on the dock. No need for a pool when you can take 3 quick steps down into the bath-like waters of Boca Ciega Bay. The rooms are SUPER CLEAN and quaint with very comfy beds, flat screen TV and a very efficient AC. The kitchens have everything you need if you like to cook AND a full size refrigerator. The other great thing about BayWaters is their location to great restaurants and quaint little shops.

If you want to just relax and enjoy great company, both human and 4-legged, then this is the place for you. Looking forward to staying longer our next visit!

Room Tip: All the rooms are good...open your door, look to the left and you can watch the sunrise!
