My 10 year old son and I stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of summer break . We had a great time. St Pete Beach is a beautiful beach no matter where you stay on it, but it's hard to find a quaint little place like this one, it's mostly covered in high rises. We didn't use all of the amenities that were available, like the free beer and wine happy hour, but we did enjoy the pool, the outdoor games, and the hammocks on the beach. The room was clean and it was nice to have the convenience of the kitchen in the room and a grocery store so close by. I booked with Hotwire.com, but would definitely stay there again if I could get a decent rate. I was considering adding another night since we were having such a good time, but was glad I didn't since it stormed the entire day that we left. We met a family from Britain who had been there a week and another from Toronto who were there for a three week stay. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
