“You must be kidding me.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

Got this as a mystery resort on another website. I have figured out what the mystery is.
1)Where were the security guards that we paid an extra eight bucks a night for? They were non-existent for the first two nights.
2)Where was the festive Christmas atmosphere? Not here.
3) Where was the Can-I-Help-You attitude of the hostess in the Compass Grille? Same place as the security guards.
4)Bell service? Not
These are the mysteries of the mystery resort.
Front desk clerk was excellent. Very helpful.
Upgraded to King suite. Should have saved the money. Bedroom furniture and mattress were excellent. Can't figure out why the tv is across the room and mounted on the wall. Have to turn up the volume to blast to hear anything, which cannot be a good thing for the people next door.
Bathroom is small and not super clean. Sink is in the hallway, with lights right above it. This is not the problem. The problem was the light covers above the sink. They were so dusty I thought it was part of the design at first.
Couch in front room, Dirty. Door to balcony, broken.
Housekeeping really should learn how to NOT slam doors. And also learn what DO NOT DISTURB means. It does not mean come in and stay awhile. These ladies were loud, crude and inconsiderate. On the whole it was an ok experience, but one I will not repeat.
Christmas should be a fun, festive time. Please give your employees a raise or whatever it takes to get them in a better mood. And explain to housekeeping that not everyone gets up at 7 am, especially during the holidays.

Dear Bigmoose47, Please accept our apologizes for the negative experience you encountered. We strive for perfection in everything we do and I am so sorry we did not live up to your expectations. I know we try very hard to deliver great service to each and everyone of our guests. We obviously fell short in your case. On a positive note, it was nice to read that you thought the Front Desk was excellent and that the bedroom furniture and mattress were excellent. Thank you for your detailed feedback and we do hope you will return and give us a second chance to redeem ourselves.

Forced out of our home for a week (for mold remediation), SBR was selected site unseen. The rate was terrific for a two room suite, and although we were not directly facing the beach, breezes easily cooled the room. And, the beach itself offers endless delight. Complaints: not enough regulation of unruly & loud adults, constant piped audio at outdoor restaurants and cost of parking & internet. Three pools provide a nice choice, but at least one ought to be adults only.
Overall, very comfortable with accommodating staff and exceptional beachfront.

Room Tip: If you don't like noise, ask the concierge to recommend a location.

This was our third time at the resort and we have never been disappointed. The property is nice yet We have seen many upgrades. During our last visit they we replacing couches, chairs and installing large flat screens in the north building. The staff consistently has been top notch and quite friendly. All amenities are on property so you never have to leave it you don't want to. We will continue to use the Sirata as our home away from home.

I just spend 4 nights at the Sirata......big rooms.....comfortable beds......spacious bathroom.....a big fridge......flat tv screen.......and everything was spotless.

Only negative point about this place is the $12 charge per day for the internet....considering that all the hotel iv'e spent time at offer it for free i think that this is something they couldoffer for free....they do also offer a combination of parking and internet at $20 a day...just be careful it is $20 a day...when i enquired about it i was told that it was $20 for my 4 days stay.....when it was time to check out i was surprise to learn that it was $80 for the service....it istrue that i might have misunderstood, nevertheless the manager Mike was very comprehensive and decided to only charge me for parking....it was very gracious of him...just tell you about the impotance they give to customer satisfaction....i myself will go back and enjoy the sirata....the many pro outweigh the only con...

We stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort the first weekend in November. We had a suite right on the beach. It was wonderful. We were able to watch the sunset and sip Champagne. The staff was great and very friendly. We plan to go there next year for our anniversary. The room was immaculate. Service was wonderful. I recommend Sirata Beach Resort highly.

Room Tip: Get the suite on the beach.

Booked this hotel on Hotwire for a really good price. I was a little worried that we'd be put into a tiny, off the path room. They put us in an oceanfront room which was a pleasant surprise because this place is absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to return during the summer months since it was too cold to get in the ocean. But the pools are heated and warm, plus the hot tubs are nice.
We didn't eat at the resort so I can't post about their food.
Parking does cost, but it's also manned by a security officer, so it's worth it. Keep in mind that this resort isn't as expensive as the others in their area, even after paying parking and Internet if you choose.
The staff that we talked to were all very nice.

I had a good time. The staff was great and the location was wonderful. I ran on the beach every day. The beach was clean and there were not too many people. The restaurant had very good food and the staff were attendtive.
