“Great comfort, great price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

We stayed only 2 nights, but would have loved to stay longer. Big room, very nice bed & linens, nice property too. Beautiful placement on the beach, with panoramic view. We shopped online room rates through Hotwire and got a fabulous price for our room! Can't go wrong with Sirata!

Room Tip: We were in the 4600 building on the 6th floor and we has a suite with a full frig and stove. Room s...

We stood for one week at the Sirata Beach Hotel and booked via Expedia. We decided to upgrade to a King Suite. The hotel room looked like it recently had been re-done. We had a brand new pull out couch in the living room and could witness a truck delivery of plenty more new pull out couches for other rooms. Everything was well kept and against other reviews we didn't have the impression that it was an old run down hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. I didn't like not having complimentary wireless at the room and the additional costs for parking. That should be included. The hotel offers internet access at 2 PC's including printer at the business center. Everybody was very friendly and the food at the restaurants was good too. Can not say anything negetive besides the wireless and parking as already mentioned.

Room Tip: We would choose an ocean front room the next time. The view of our room was ok, but not great. You l...

Hotel was the best. I stayed at the Sirata for business; however the atmosphere was so relaxing that it felt like a mini vacation. The amenities were awesome.
The staff were polite, professional and went above and beyond to assist with any of our needs.
The pool and hot tub were very relaxing with a great view of the beach all at the same time.
I look forward to planning a vacation and staying here for sure.

My husband and I just returned from a long relaxing weekend at Sirata. The weather was perfect with brilliant blue sky and temperatures in the low to mid 70's.The resort is perfect for both couples and families. Clean pool deck w/great atmosphere- Harry's by far had the best views of the gulf w/inviting firepit for cooler weather. We were lucky enough to have the same wait staff person throughout our stay- Kenny. He was friendly, efficient and very helpful with great reccomendations to area restaurants. We stayed in Bldg 2- ground floor with direct access to the beach, perfect for watching sunsets. The bathroom was quite small, but the room itself was more than adequate. Word to the wise- avoid the Compass Grille. So disappointing, but it's our own fault, we should have turned around and walked out- not a good sign when the place is empty at 7PM.

What is your dream of Florida, Beach, Fun in the Sun, good Music, the best Sun Sets in a Romantic setting on a beautiful St Petes beach, Love it then hat is the Sirata Beach Resort. It is an Excellent Beach Resort. What an atmosphere for the whole family, couples or groups in the center of St Petes Beach Strip, without breaking your bank account fairly priced but a beach hotel. It has the best Beach Bar, Harry's, with live local singers, wastin away almost every night. The Fun, the Music, Jimmy Buffett tunes, 3 Pools, the Beach and the Sun, the Sunsets, lots of activities, we always go for short stays (weekends) in the winter, and all my family and guests stay at the Sirata Beach Hotel Resort. The staff's performance and personal service is very good, a relaxing resort hotel on one of the best beaches in the world. Our room was good, it had an unbelievable view of the Gulf of Mexico, the sun and the most beautiful sunsets. This hotel has the Best local "Tiki Bar" Harry's Beach Bars in Florida, named after the original owner, Harry's. Imagine St Petes Beach "Sun for over 300 days of the year", I highly recommended this Hotel, the Room was comfortable, it had a large balcony with a view of the entire beach front and the Gulf of Mexico. approximately 600 sq ft....A beautiful yellow landmark, large hotel nicely appointed hotel room, with very comfortable bedding in kingsize bed, large bathroom area, and a sitting room with pull out couch. A spectacular view of beach and 3 pools! We would highly recommend your stay The Sirata Beach Resort Hotel, access to all great restaurants in the area. The Service is good, poolside food and drinks at Harry's Beach Bar. Best Hamburger on the beach at Harry's. The word is comfortable atmosphere with a beautiful circular fire pit to take the chill off that sun burn. Lots of children, this is a family or couples hotel. This is truly an affordable resort with unbelievable sunsets from the pool, rooms and beach area. Great beach front area with lounge chairs on beach for sunbathing. Close to Tampa, and Clearwater Airports, 40 minutes from Airport. The Concierge Desk can arranged Taxis, to stadiums and arenas for baseball, football, hockey and they will help direct you to all local activities. We have stayed here multiple times. Although we only stay for a few days, usually weekends, the entire staff were very helpful, The service was friendly and staff were highly experienced. Great sun, unbelievable sunsets, and a perfect beach with a great Beach Bar, Harry's. A good Hotel for the entire family, or a couples. Many local Florida residents book their weekends here. Reasonably priced, and it was perfect in every way and very competitively priced for rooms and special events, at a great locally owned beach resort hotel. Say hi to jo CDominic and Joey at Harry's. I celebrated another Birthday, 7th in a row at Sirata, and had a wonderful time as usual. Your entire staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I appreciate it. It says alot about you as an employer, that I continue to see the same faces year after year. I had a minor health issue and the front desk printed out maps and directions to the Dr. I needed, and Deborah is just awesome, and Dominic, as well as several others, wish I was better with names. I cant wait to come back! thankyou for everything! Best place to stay in St. Pete, hands down

I was very disappointed in the property. First off the room we were given was tiny. We could barely move around. The bathroom was clean, but again much smaller than the pictures online show.
The comforters were a dirty mattress pad type thing with Velcro every 12 inches with two sheet wrapped around it. The problem is every time you turned or moved in the slightest the velcro would scratch you and wake you up.
I was also disappointed in the staff. We arrived at 12:30 am our first night, when we checked in I was told we would not be charged for the prior days parking since the day was already over. Well upon check out, we were charged even though we hadn't been there that day. They staff really tries to nickel and dime you on everything at the property. $8 a day for parking, $10 a day for internet access, $15 a day to access the business center.
Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone.
