My husband and I stayed here for the weekend recently and were rather disappointed. We thought it would be so nice to stay in a nice hotel on the beach in St. Augustine with a nice, heated pool and free breakfast delivered straight to your room every morning but we were rather disappointed! To start off, as soon as we got there the toilet wouldn't flush. We called the front office and they said they would send some one right over. So, my husband and I sat around for 30 minutes before we decided we probably didn't have to be there when they came any ways and went to play mini golf next door and take a walk down the beach. After doing all that we come back and the maintenance person still hadn't came to fix it. So, we called again and he finally came immediately after that and says because the place is older the toilets are also older and you have to hold down the handle to make it flush. So, we paid 175.00 a night for a faulty toilet? Plus the rooms were TINY! I'm telling you my master bedroom in our house is bigger than this room and bathroom combined and we don't live in a mansion! I will have to suggest if you do want to stay here don't stay in a room with the king size bed. I guess spending a little more money and getting the suite for 200.00 a night would have been a better way to go. I was under the impression you could see the beach from the hotel as well. NOT TRUE! Unless you're ocean side second floor you will not have a view of the beach at all unless you walk a half mile down their long wooden walk way to finally get to the beach. As fair as the pool goes, the pool chairs were VERY nice! But the pool itself was tiny! I was not impressed one bit by it! The breakfast they bring to the room was not good at all and had a very small selection of only things like muffins or bagels. If you have an appetite like my husband, don't expect to be remotely satisfied after eating anything from them! And then after you have spent all that money just on the tiny room without a view, faulty toilets, and small pool, they want you to tip the person that brings you breakfast. I'm sorry but I think you could afford to pay the lady that walks 10 feet to our room a decent amount because of home much I paid just to stay here! Also, La Fiesta is not in walking distance to anything really besides the mini golf. Save your money and go to a place down the road closer to food and entertainment because this place is just SO NOT WORTH IT!!!

Our property was just recently renovated with new beautiful furnishings and TV's which followed our installing all new bathrooms 3 years ago with new all new plumbing so it is nearly new and usually works great-we are sorry you had a problem with your toilet as one of our 4 maintenance persons usually arrives within 15 minutes.
Our pool area rooms are located in the area of the pool and only the upstairs rooms have a view of our pool which is the largest heated hotel pool in our county, 60 ft by 25 ft. Glad you liked our pool chairs.
Most people love our delivered breakfast to the room but we understand some guests do prefer a breakfast buffet.
We offer a variety of rooms and sizes from our best value pool area queen room to our 2-level townhouse suites and 400 sq. ft oceanview rooms so if you visit again please let us know you would like a oceanview. Thanks!
