We had done our research and Flager College was in the top three places we wanted to visit during our four day vacation to St. Augustine. We were not disappointed. Although we would have liked to have been able to see some of the places where the actual students live and work, such as their library, visiting the dining hall, foyer, parlor and garden were utterly spellbinding. Learning about the history of Richard Flager and this once-stellar hotel, was the highlight of our vacation. No one should leave this city without a tour! The student who did our tour was fantastic too - not your run-of-the-mill bored college student roped into doing community service. He obviously loved the school and wanted to share its beauty with us.
