“Perfect Location - Walking Distance to Everything”

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. Within walking distance to just about every attraction, the trolley tour ticket wasn't necessary. When you think of the money you're saving on the trolley tickets (about 20 bucks a person), 18 per night for valet parking doesn't seem too bad.

On the other hand, if you are hoping for a stunning view or huge resort style pool, this isn't the hotel you want. The water is visible from the front rooms, but so is the main road. The pool is the size of a home swimming pool, clean, but not large. It was perfect for my mom, my husband and I, but it's not the kind of hotel where you would stay the entire day hanging out at the pool or eating in the cafe, etc.

I recommend this hotel if you want to see all the sights of historic St. Augustine and be able to walk back to the hotel and plop down to relax for a few minutes in between things. It was perfect for pit stops and quick swims in the pool.

What I liked best about this hotel is the location. The employees including valet attendants/concierges were very helpful.

Location - not bad. Rooms - clean and reasonably well furnished.
Staff - unfriendly with the exception of one.
The cost of meals and drinks in the hotel seemed very high.
Be warned this hotel has valet parking only these days and charges $25 + tips per day.

The worst of the six hotels we stayed in during our trip and will only remember it for the negative points.
