Talked my midwestern friends into trying Creekside instead of a chain restaurant. They were a bit apprehensive, especially seeing the parking lot arrangement and that it looked like a house. They both ordered different steaks and were extremely pleased that they were large, thick, tender, juicy and cooked the way they wanted( she is a very rare lover). They also loved the breadsticks and the baked sweet potato. I ordered the Tallahasee shrimp sampler and was not as enthused as they were. the shrimp were small and a bit overcooked. But, it was fun taking them somewhere other than a chain restaurant! They will be back next year, so I will need a different rest. with steak!!

Great food, charming location and personable staff. Had to wait a bit so a reservation would be good if you do not want to wait. Parking was kind of questionable. My car was keyed in the parking lot. It was not well lit nor defined. Park at own risk.

I would suggest going for the atmosphere. We sat inside since it was December and a little too cold in the evening but on a nice night sitting outside listening to the music would be a great relaxing experience. The place is unique and worth a trip for that. A little hard to find but those are the best places. Food was just average though. I had plank fish which was good but smothered in some kind of mustard sauce that some people may not like. Others had fried chicken and were disappointed. cole slaw was good. All five of us decided the food was just OK and not as good as we had hoped for the price. Service was not the best. We were brought salads but not any silverware. When waiter brought salads I mentioned all we needed was silverware. We waited patiently about 10 minutes then asked another waitress. She came back with silverware after about 5 minutes or so. We weren't in a hurry and I don't get too excited about things like this - after all we were on vacation. Overall enjoyed the experience and would recommend for those that have never been. Probably wouldn't go back with our family because of cost for just OK food. Wife and I would maybe go back.

My husband and I ate at the Creekside last week on the recommendation of the staff where we were staying.
The food was fantastic and Dan could not have looked after us better! There was a guy playing the blues on the guitar who was brilliant!

We are going back to St Augustine for Christmas and will be eating at Creekside at least a couple of times in the week that we are there.

If you love steak, fish and seafood this place is an absolute must!
You must try the baked sweet potato too!

You can also toast marshmallows on the open fire after your meal or while you are waiting for it!
