“A nice stroll.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2012

Lots of shops from a magic shop to lady's fancy lingerie. Shaded areas and plenty of benches to sit at. Something for the whole family. Take your time and stroll. Bakeries, coffee shops and ice cream places galore. A nice break on hot sunny day. Most shops don't open till after 9:30 AM, so no rush to get in early. Park at the Historic Center parking garage near the Visitor's Center. Once you leave the parking garage you have to pay again, so plan accordingly. Very convenient to the Fort and Spanish Town.Take one of the two trolley systems. Not cheap, but if someone in your party isn't able to walk in the heat an humidity of summer, it's a great option. Hop on and off and the passe are good for three days.

“So quaint and historic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

What a cute little town - quaint old buildings reminding me of Salzburg in some ways. Lots of cute little shops for tourists.

“GOING BACK IN TIME...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

During the trolley tour, I took note of various places that I would further explore after the tour was finished. One of these places is the Old. St. Augustine Village.

Similar to what some Tripadvisor Reviewers had written, the best way to visit the village is by walking. Visit the various stores, gift shops, restaurants, etc. of the village. Take your time, enjoy the ambience, taste and savor their foods, and shop at the stores.

“Great place especially for a weekend getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

Great place to spend the day, but can be tiring walking around all day, so we always spend the night. The Saragosa Inn is a great B&B to stay because it's the only one that lets you stay for 1 night, all the others require at least 2 nights. The owner is friendly, informative, & a great chef. Anyway back to the village, something for everyone - shopping, museums, bars, food, & numerous attractions. Very relaxing & friendly place. Also very scenic. Enjoy !!!
