“Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

My husband and I stumbled on this attraction by accident on St. George Street. At first, it was mainly to take advantage of their air conditioning since it was humid. However, after walking through the attraction, we learned about the plight and struggle of the people in the New World. This was particularly interesting to my husband since his mother's side of the family is Greek. I wouldn't necessarily recommend making a special trip for this, but if you are in the area, do drop by. There is also a gift shop at the end as well.

“Interesting history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

Our group was not aware of the history of these resilient people and their struggle in the New World. Very informative. Entrance off of St. George Street.

“What a refreshing stop on a hot day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

St. George Street is a busy and sometimes hot place, filled with hot and sweaty tourists who are more interested in the shops than the historic aspects of the street. But when you are foot weary and looking for a dark and peaceful place of refuge, this little building is the place to go. I never miss an opportunity to stop in and spend a little time and I always exit feeling a little better for my detour.

“Greek American history the easy way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

A nicely put together combination of a chapel with religious icons and a history lesson. Learn the history of Greek settlement on the East Coast of Florida in a well put-together and not overwhelming collection of photos and other artifacts. Nice diversion from all the tchotsky shops.
