“totally enjoyable revisits, even better than the first time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Several revisits later and eating an assortment of dishes, it is clear as to how enjoyable this restaurant is. A very varied menu, with excellent pizza, caesar salad, veal and chicken parmagiana, and even make your own pasta. Good homemade meatballs and sauce. A terrific assortment of neopolitan style Italian food, served by caring staff and management that aims to please. This is an old fashioned restaurant that is great to have available to our family. Prices are very fair. A total pleasure.

“3rd time's the charm!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

This is the third time we've eaten at the Chianti Room and our best experience yet. To be honest, I was not at all impressed with the food or the service on our first visit and if it was up to me, I would not have returned. But, our family has a tradition of allowing each family member to choose a restaurant and my teenage daughter chose this one because she loves pasta. This third visit was the point where everything came together - good service, everyone enjoyed their meal (we all had pasta dishes) and it was nice to sit outside on the deck.

“First time in the Chianti room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

I ALWAYS stop for a slice of Pizza at Pizzalley's when I'm in St. Augustine. I brought my boyfriend to the city for the first time and brought him here for a late lunch. There was a young lady out front advising happy hour in the Chianti room starting at 3:00 (it was about 10 til). We decided to make our way back there to take advantage. We were a little early but our waitress obliged and waited to take our order. The pizza was just as delicious as out front and the happy hour was just an extra perk.

“Italy in St. Augustine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

We were a two family party of eleven. They were very accommodating to our needs and wanted to get us seated quickly. The pizza was delicious. The caprese salad was absolutely amazing! A must have. The veal dinner was alright and a very large portion. Be aware that if you share an entree, you will be charged an additional four dollars. Overall the server was knowledgable and very helpful. The decor of the restaurant was eclectic and interesting. A nice place to have a family dinner if in the historic district of the city.

“Great pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up eating an entire pizza. Sat at the bar and enjoyed great drinks and conversation.
