We visited on March 8, 2014. It happened we hit Celtic Festival and the place was very crowded. Since we had an evening wedding to attend in Jacksonville, we only were able to visit the Visitors Center (very helpful), the adjoining old cemetery and Fort Castillo. The fort was very interesting and we took some great photos.
My wife wanted some seafood for lunch so we chose Barnacle Bills which was near where we parked. It appeared to be a ma and pa type place. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I had alligator and some cheesy grits. My wife had grilled mahi mahi with mango sauce. Both were very good and not too pricey. Less than $25 for both of us.
