Long, narrow shopping street. No vehicular traffic. Lots of small, old buildings with small shops and restaurants on St George itself and the intersecting streets. I was told that pretty much any place you pick to eat will be good, and that's probably pretty much true. A few sightseeing places along the street...Colonial Quarter, Old School House, etc. Walk, eat, drink, see. Spend at least a full day and graze your way up and down the street. There's lots of (paid) parking in the area, but there are lots of people who want those spots on the weekend. Weekdays are easy. If you buy the 3-day tickets on the Trolley or the Red Train, you can do what we did, and park for free at the first stop and use that as transport to/from St George St. and just about anywhere else you want to go.
