“Tasty tasty tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

We just finished our dinner at the Floridian. Yummy! We had the catch of the day (Mahi), and the cornbread panzanella salad. Both were soo good! Nice fresh veggies and nice fresh fish and shrimp, perfectly cooked. Salad had the right amount of dressing, the compound butter on the fish was just right. Could not be more pleased.

“The BEST of Everything!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We literally stumbled across it on Friday and had a fabulous lunch - every detail of our meals was fresh and well thought out. It left us wanting more, so we returned for dinner that night, lunch the next day and dinner AGAIN!!! Innovative dishes using fresh locally sourced organic produce, cheeses, etc., friendly and efficient staff, reasonable prices and good sized portions make this our favorite restaurant anywhere! We can fly there in 2 hours from Punta Gorda and we will do that just to eat at The Floridian.

“One of the best meals you will ever have!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The food was so fresh and delicious. I had the mahi mahi with new potatoes and veggies. My sister had a beautiful salad. The decor was lovely and it is in a quieter area, away from the main area of St. George Street but only a five minute walk. My sister and I both said it was one of our fav meals of all time. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh!

“Worth the wait!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

We dined on a Friday night. They didn't take reservations but they did take our cell number and told us about 45 minutes wait. We left to explore a little and returned about 30 minutes later. We waited in the small bar in the back, several people were having their dinner back there and seemed to be enjoying it. We were seated after a total of an hour wait. The server was very good, he explained the specials and gave his suggestions. I had the shrimp and grits special and my husband had the other fish special. The food was just fantastic. Such fresh, imaginative favors, nice portions and served beautifully. We can't wait to come back and try them for lunch!

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

We eat here 2 or 3 times whenever we visit. The food is outstanding. Quaint atmosphere and we enjoy the little bar in the back. Good beer selection and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.
