Description: The Hyppo is a gourmet popsicle shop that makes all of its own products using only fresh, natural ingredients. From fresh basil to ripe mangoes to blazing ghost peppers, you're sure to find flavor combinations here that expand the notion of what an ice pop can be. All pops are gluten free and vegetarian, and about half of our selection is dairy free. We use Florida evaporated cane juice to mildly sweeten the fruits and herbs before their flash-freeze onto a small birch stick. On a hot day in the historic district, this is the pinnacle of flavorful refreshment. Open late.

“Great afternoon stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Found this thru Tripadvisor and made it a stop bc of that. Fun little gourmet popsicle spot. If you have picky kids looking for orange or grape, this is NOT the place. These are artsy $3.50 designer pops.

The Elvis...PB, banana and honey, I believe. I had a pineapple cilantro which was good. My daughter raved about the goat milk and blackberry. I tried my wife's, the plum sangria, which was mostly plum and very good. Another had the orange cheesecake. We both liked that too. About 8-12 flavors that change. Went back next day for one and it was gone. These and a few bottled drinks and that is it.

The guy working the counter was low key and very friendly. I mean how do you describe some of these things? He was honest. Fun spot a couple blocks off the main area.

“Growing Hyppo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Came back for more Popsicles and found the Hyppo is now on the corner of Hypolita St. and Charlotte St. In a bigger locale with chairs, tables and lots of fun tshirts. This time I tried the pineapple/mango flavor which was delicious. Keep coming. Their old locale now serves macaroons.

“Reminds me of the Popsicles in NY!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013 via mobile

If you are eating one of these on a cold night then you know it's worth it! This reminds me of a few places in New York that has gourmet Popsicles. You can not go wrong with any flavor, strawberry basil, plum sangria, pineapple ginger, pear, the list goes on and on they are all good! Kids had one in the afternoon there is a small hut tucked in off the main strip near some shopping and then later that night we actually walked into the store as the hut was closed earlier.

“Good Popsicle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

Great homemade Popsicle. I had the coconut and my daughter the Elvis (peanut butter, banana and honey). A bit expensive at $3.50 each and service was a bit slow. Unique experience.

“Best snack / desert place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

Easily the most delicious frozen treat I've had in a long time. Very original flavors, with a cool decor and great prices. The Elvis was delicious, and I'll go out of my way to stop here again.
