“A real gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2010

These days, almost every touristy town touts itself as a place to buy art. Thing is, most of them seem to have a really loose definition of "art" and place strangely high price tags on amateurish or hackneyed "schtuff." But St. Augustine is the exception, and if you only visit one of their many fine art outlets, High Tide (formerly Mullet Beach) should be that one. There really is something for everyone. This little shop is just bulging with treasures in all price ranges and many styles -- from note cards to jewelry to ceramics to pricey wall art. We could have spent a fortune, but as it was, we somehow escaped with 2 beautiful art glass pendants on silver chains and a handmade ceramic dolphin fridge magnet, all for around $100. As if that weren't enough, the owner was very welcoming and helpful, as was the store's mascot, an adorable and elderly-looking pug.

“Well worth a visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2010

This is not your run of the mill, stuffy "old money" art gallery. The young owner (Aimee) and all the artists are terrific people. With all the art work from local artists, it will give you a real sense of what's happening in the thriving art community of NE Florida. From a small piece of shell art for $3 to the multi-thousand dollar originals by nationally recognized artists, there is literally something for everyone.

Besides, you'll have a genuinely great time! No budget or big budget, absolutely everyone is welcome. Stop by and say hi to Aimee ... and tell her Teri sent ya!

“Absolutley a great gallery!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2010

My wife and I stumbled onto Mullet Beach Art Gallery many years ago and we keep going back every chance we get. It always amazes me the wonderful selection of items available. Every time we visit we find something new we just love. We decorated our new home almost exclusively with artwork purchased there. You can't find a better selection of quality art than with Aimee. If you are in ST. Augustine you just have to visit Mullet Beach - you won't be disappointed. In fact go several times - each time you visit you will find a new treasure.

“Aimee and Buddi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2010

We met Aimee and her rescue dog Buddi a couple of years ago at a monthly art walk. These two, along with Aimee's mother and assorted friends, and the most fun mix of art, music and edible delights introduced us to a lifelong love affair with local St Augustine artists. From Aimee's own jewelry, to sophisticated oils, glass and ceramic creations, to a quirky beach lovers take on French Impressionism, Mullet Beach is an eclectic mix of multi media art at its best. If your soul is dedicated to the tropics and the beach, or if you just think seashells are pretty, do yourself a favor and take a dip at Mullet Beach. Buddi will be glad to see you!

“I LOVE the Mullet Beach Art Gallery!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2010

I have been a Saint Augustine resident for 6 years and absolutely love the Mullet Beach Art Gallery. I have purchased all kinds of gifts for my friends and family and several collectable art pieces as well as a ton of unique jewelry here! This is my favorite store in Saint Augustine!
