“Great 3 foot Subs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2010

Great Ny style deli. You can get up to a three foot long sub with great deli meat and homemade bread AND homemade mozzarella cheese. Linguini with clam sauce, red or white, is very tasty.

“The BEST Pizza, Subs and Pasta Around!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2010

As close to NY pizza that you will get in Northern Florida. The subs, pizza and pasta are amazing! Make sure to try the garlic knots!!! We are down in St. Augustine twice a year and each time we order out from Romano's about half the time we are there. We also had people over to our condo and just ordered the large subs (steak and cheese, chicken parm and the Italian are the best ones) and fed a bunch of people. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. The owers are from NJ and always so nice to chat with. Just got back from FL and I am missing the beach and Romano's pizza!

“A family owned authentic Italian eatery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2010

Romano's makes most of their specialties from scratch, including a very good fresh mozzarella. Pastas are great, sandwiches are the best in St Augustine, and the pizza is wonderful. Add to that reasonable prices, and you have a wonderful place to eat and take-out in st augustine beach!

“Definitely worth a try!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2010

We have been pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality of this eatery. They have a very nice well-rounded menu ranging from salads. home-made soups, pasta dishes, entrees, sandwiches, and excellent thin crust NY style pizza. Today my wife had Chicken cacciatore and I had the Chicken parmagiana. Each came with a nice salad and we ordered some garlic toast. Every bite was scrumtious. The dishes were huge, the sauces wonderful, and the garlic toast was as good as it gets. They have a display case full of salads and other fixings (green and black olives, roasted red peppers, dried tomatoes, etc. that are all prepared on site. Also a small selection of home made desserts. The only negative is no wine or beer. But, if you are just looking for some seriously good home-style Italian cooking like Momma used to make...this is the place to try.
