“Our kids enjoyed feeding the gators”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Our girls enjoyed getting to feed pellets to the gators, petting a baby gator and snake. Police officers get in free.

“Pleasantly Surprised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

I had seen "alligator farms' in the Everglades before and I wasn't too keen on seeing another one. However, this is wrongly called a "farm" - it is a very well maintained alligator/reptile/bird zoo. They do research there, they re-populate areas where alligators have been wiped out or endangered. The "farm" is an educational center and very well run. It was a very worthwhile 2 hours and excellent value for the admission price.

“An unexpected delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Since I found St. A to be a little too touristy for my liking, I was reluctant to go to this attraction (I was worried it would just be "Bubba" wrestling a gator). Instead I found a place where animal conservation and educating the public is the top priority. I never knew there were so many kinds of alligators and crocodiles, and it was incredible to see them up close. Also, they have an area for natural migrating birds, and although it is not the full seasons for the birds migration stop, there were still hundreds of birds. Absolutely incredible. I regret that we didn't go until late in the day and so we didn't have a lot of time. I could have easily spent a half day there. Definitely worth the time and money to do.

“See the gators eye level or from the trees!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Fun, Educational, Exciting.
Fun: you see not just Alligators, but all kinds of animals and birds.
Educational: Learn about the animals. They become less frightening and much more interesting.
Exciting: Reach out and touch them...well a baby anyway.
More Exciting: Zipline over the gator pens. Two levels of Zipline and obstacle course. The low one is less challenging but right over the Alligators. You MUST try it!!
Price is not cheap but well worth it.

“They won't bite you !!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

This place, in my opinion, is outstanding. Not only will you see hundreds of alligators and other animals close-up, but you'll learn the history of the place and be able to see lots of birds at the rookery. It is a place for all ages and recently put in a zip line. On the expensive side to enter, but worth the money. Kids love it as do adults. There's also a snack bar & do find out upon entry when the next alligator feeding takes place. You'll be amazed as you watch a brave attendant get within a couple of feet from the alligators as he feeds them.
