Due to past experiences, I’m usually cautious and have lowered expectations when it comes to motels. I was pleasantly surprised with The Bayfront Inn.

The brick paved parking lot, nicely landscaped property, decorated lobby and patio chairs in front of the rooms indicate this motel is above most. Once inside the room it had the feel and furnishings of a mid-range to higher HOTEL. The bed was comfortable and the thermostat actually worked! One of the things that stood out to me was the upgraded water faucets and light fixtures in the room. Those are some nice touches you aren’t going to see at a Motel 6!
The location was great as well. It is just a short walk to the Old Town district and the fort, which saves parking costs and hassle. It is also “far” enough away to be on the quieter side of the restaurants and bar areas of the district which is nice at night.

We checked in late, after 10 pm, and were even given a little bit of a break on the room rate. Considering I have previously stayed at the Hilton just down the street for over twice as much, it was a good deal.

More motels need to be like The Bayfront, it’s nice to have you vehicle just outside your room. Our did not have a fridge, it needed a fridge. We would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

Stayed here on a recent trip to St. Augustine. We were very pleased with the location of the inn. I was worried that we'd have too far to walk to get to the Old Town district but we were so close. We were given a corner room on the ground floor and it was huge! The room, floors & bath were clean. However we did find a hair pin beneath the phone & a bag of cookies in the desk drawer! Guess the housekeeping staff overlooked those two items! One Tip: Bring a cooler because there is no mini frig. That was surprising in this day and age. Otherwise a very nice place to stay.

Went during labor day weekend. My main thing is clean rooms and it was clean, water was clean, shower was clean, beds smelled fresh. The location is great, you can walk anywhere from there. They should take some decent pics of the rooms as their website doesn't give the hotel much cred with dull photos. II was nervous going in and left very satisfied!

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to lovely St. Augustine for a weekend get away, I am extremely picky when it comes to the cleanlyness of hotels and the quality of rooms, so I was nervous to see what kind of hotel he had picked. I was very surprised when I saw the rates of the room compared to the quality. Extremely fare rates with clean rooms, best location and great staff! Can wait to come back again!
